Castelldefels

Castelldefels is situated just 18 kilometres outside of Barcelona City, on a stretch of coastline known as the Costa del Garraf, between the mountainous landscape of the massif of Garraf and the Mediterranean sea in the Barcelona province of Catalonia. The town is famous for its long beach which is more than 5 km long. You can sail to the Olympic canal, called Canal Olímpic de Catalunya, built for the 1992 Summer Olympic Games of Barcelona is in the town or you can sail to the one of the nearby towns such as Gavà, Viladecans or El Prat de Llobregat.
